Feline Attraction

More and more I am finding myself drawn to the feline characteristics.
Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Cougars, Cheetahs and the like. These animals have always fascinated me, but the closer I look, the more I relate. There's the typical similarity encompassing the ability to "always land on your feet" ; "cats have 9 lives" (yes I have often manouvered my way out of many a precarious predicament) and so forth.

Another factor I have come to realise is their sense of independance. They like to be free, and they love to explore  the environment on their own. There are various traits belonging to the different species of the feline but it is with a combined essence that I am familiar with. Their graceful movement, flexibility piercing eyes. I too will come seeking for affection when and if I see fit. Tickle my back and I may purr but come near my loved ones with apprehension and beware of the claw.

Hotter Than Hot

KASABIAN
“Take Aim” Lyrics:

Nightmares, oh nightmares come on now
Getting my days all wrong now
Risen from prison an outlaw
Spending our time in the lion's jaw
In the end you sink or swim
I'm eager, I'm eager...

Loving more loving come on now
Socially biting your tongue now
Run down oh run down old houses
Feeding the cats to the mouses

Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Can you see me in the way now
Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Gotta get us out of here

Drop them and give them star prizes
Lock them away in high rises
Held off and called on by truncheons
Rattling keys to the dungeons

Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Can you see me in the way now
Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Gotta get us out of here

Don't take me over
I bid you all farewell
I've got to leave...
Tears on my shovel
Switch me off today

Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Can you see me in the way now
Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Gotta get us out of here

Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Can you see me in the way now
Oh take aim now!
Oh take aim now!
Gotta get us out of here

Don't take me over
I bid you all farewell
I've got to leave
